Annual sports meet as “UTKARSH- 2K23” was organized at KVG Ayurveda Medical College, Sullia from 19 January 2023 to 24 January 2023, with full of fun and entertainment.
Prior preparations of sports meet were done in the college campus under the guidance of Dr. Leeladhar D.V, principal of KVG Ayurveda Medical College and Dr.Harshavardhan K, HOD of Shalya Tantra& the sports in charge of the college.The students of all the batches participated in the event with a lot of practice. The students came with uniformed jersey and flag by naming their teams as – 1st Year as Aikyam, 2nd Year as Advaitha, 3rd Year as Agasthya, 4th Year as Abhyudaya & Interns as Troezianz
Inauguration of the event was done by Dr. Leeladhar D.V, principal, KVGAMC, in the presence of staff and students. Inauguration was followed by hosting flag and flash mob.
Utkarsha 2K23 being an event of 5 days, the first dayevents werebadminton and tennikoit, second day continued with the semifinal of badminton followed by the carrom,throw ball tournaments for girlsand boys andVolleyball matches.Refreshments were arranged by batch Abhyudaya on 1st day and batch Agasthya on day 2.
On the 3rd day the event shined with final matches of badminton,semifinal of tennikoit and carrom along the refreshment provided by team Aikyam.The students of team Troezienzs and team Agasthya also arranged the food stalls in the campus.
On the day 4 of Utkarsh 2k23- this day shined with the tennikoit final match, carrom final and the most thrilling event tug of war for both girls and boys. The refreshment was provided by Advaitha on this day.
Day – 5 of Utkarsh 2k23 was was prize distribution day. The prizeswere distributed to all the winners by the principal and the other staff accompanied him during the prize distribution ceremony.
The overall championship was won by team “Troezienzs”(Interns) with the highest score – 69 and the 2nd highest scorers were team “Abhyudaya”(4th year).
