PHARMACY VISIT BY POST GRADUATE STUDENTS FROM KLE SOCIETY’S SHRI B.M.K AYURVEDA MAHAVIDYALAYA, BELAGAVI on 30.03.2024
On 30/03/2024, Post Graduate students from Dept of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, KLE Society’s Shri B.M.K Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Belagavi visited our manufacturing unit as a part of their academic curriculum. An introduction to the Establishment of our Pharmacy and its brief history was given by our CEO Prof. Dr. Purushotham K. G. A brief note on functioning of our Pharmacy, products manufactured in our unit, GMP guidelines were explained by the Production Manager Dr.Gopalkrishna Nayak. They were then taken to different sections of our production unit and explained in detail about the ongoing production, working of different instruments, maintaining the standards and quality of our products and other details. Quality control lab head Dr. Pavana K.B, Asst.Professor, Dept. of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana and Analytical chemists Miss. Shubhashree and Mrs Vidya explained in detail about the Quality control tests conducted, their need and applications of various instruments. We had a very good interaction with the PG Scholars and received very good feedbacks from them.

Dr. Dinesh Singh Gaur, Associate Professor, Government Ashtang Ayurved College & Hospital, Indore, Madhya Pradesh and Dr. Priyanka S Thakur, Associate Professor, Government Ayuevedic College, Patiala, Punjab visited KVG Ayurveda Pharma and Research Centre on 12/02/2024 during NCISM Inspection of our college. They visited the Production and Quality Control sections of the pharmacy, enquired about process of manufacturing, quality control tests conducted and other details. On 18/07/2022, 15 Postgraduate Students from Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences, Manipal visited our Pharmacy. A brief note on the functioning of our Pharmacy, products manufactured in our unit, and GMP guidelines were explained by the Production Manager Dr Gopalkrishna Nayak followed by presenting a video clip of our Pharmacy. They were taken to different sections of our production unit and were explained in detail about the ongoing production, working of different instruments, maintaining the standards and quality of our products and other details. Quality control lab headed by Dr Pavana K B, Asst.Professor, Dept. of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana explained in detail about the Quality control tests conducted, their need and applications of various instruments. On 28/4/2022 Members of the Inspection Committee to inspect the Law Colleges, Bengaluru headed by Smt. Professor, Karnataka State Law University’s Law School, Navanagar, Hubballi had visited our GMP Certified Manufacturing unit accompanied by Adv. Uday Kumar, Principal, KVG Law College, Sullia and other staffs during their inspection programme to KVG Law College, Sullia. Dr. Purushottham K G, CEO, KVG Ayurveda Pharma & Research Centre along with other staffs welcomed them, explained the different protocols that we follow and were taken to different sections of the pharmacy. 15 Postgraduate students and Associate Professor Dr. Sharan from the department of Rasashastra and Bhaishjaya Kalpana, Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic science and research, Bangalore visited KVG Ayurveda Pharma and Research centre on 28.9.2021. They visited the Production and quality control sections of the pharma. They appreciated the hygiene, maintenance and production quality of the pharma. CEO Dr. Purushotham K. G. briefed about the Pharma and Research Centre. QC head Dr. Pavana K. B. and production manager Dr. Goplakirishna Nayak explained about quality control unit and production units.
Minister of State for Fisheries, Ports and Inland Transport Department Govt. of Karnataka Mr. S. Angara visited K.V.G. Ayurveda Pharma and Research centre on 4.09.2021. He visited all the sections of the Pharmacy including the Production and Quality control department. He wholeheartedly appreciated the ongoing works of pharmacy under the aegis of K.V.G Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital. He wished the Pharma a grand success. Dr. Purshothama K.G. Prof. & Head, Department of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana briefed about the Functioning of K.V.G Ayurveda Pharma and Research Centre. Minister was accompanied by the President of the city council Mr. Vinay Kumar Kandadka, Joint Director of Fisheries Mangalore Mr. Harish Kumar, Director of Fisheries Bangalore Mr. Ramacharya and other office bearers of Fisheries Dept., Govt of Karnataka and all the supportive staffs of K.V.G Ayurveda Pharma and Research Centre were present during his visit.
