As per the instructions from UGC, anti-ragging Week was observed at KVG Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Sullia from 12.08.2023 to 18.08.2023. In this regard some of the events were organized in the institution.
1) On 14.08.2013, Essay competition was conducted for the students. 39 student participated in the competition.
2) On 16.08.2013, Poster presentation competition was conducted for the students. Total 16 teams were participated.
3) On 18.08.2013, Guest talk was organised. Mrs. Teena. H.S., Asst. Professor, KVG Law College was the guest speaker. She spoke about the history of ragging, consequences of ragging, IPC section in relation to ragging and what are the measures to be taken in the educational institutions to curb ragging.
This program was presided by Prof. Dr. Leeladhar. D.V, Principal, KVGÂ Ayurveda Medical College, Sullia. Prizes were distributed to the winners of essay writing and Poster Presentation competition by the Principal. Staff and Students were actively participated in this program.
