Samskrita sangha of KVG Ayurveda Medical college organized a week program “Samskrita Saptaha” from 05.08.2025 to 11.08.2025, in connection with National Sanskrit day.
The program was inaugurated by Dr.Leeladhar.D.V, Principal, KVGAMC on 05.08.2025. During this one week program different events were conducted.
To create the awareness among the students, a street play was arranged in our institution and also in two schools namely Payaswini govt.higher primary school, Jalsoor and Rotary High School, Sullia.
In connecting with this program different competitions like video blogging, essay writing, group song and letter writing was conducted to the students to create the awareness about Sanskrit.
On the last day the program concluded with a valedictory function. Dr.Sanath Kumar.D.G, Professor and HOD, department of Panchakarma and Medical officer, KVGAMCH, presided the program. Mr. Shrivara.K.V, MA,B.Ed in Sanskrit was the chief guest of the function. Dr.Vinaya Shankara Bharadwaj.B, Student welfare officer, KVGAMC, Mrs.Shashikala.D, Secretary, Samskrita Sangha, KVGAMC and Dr.Sreeja.S, HOD, Department of Samhita and Siddhanta was there on the stage. Prizes were distributed for the winners of various competitions held in connection with the event. Dr.Sreeja, HOD, Dept.of Samhita and Siddhanta welcomed the gathering and Dr.Vishnu Krishnan, Asst.professor, Dept.of Samhita and Siddhanta delivered vote of thanks.
