As part of the 10th Ayurveda Day celebrations, KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Sullia D.K., organized a Free Ayurveda Medical Camp and Public Awareness Program at NMPU College, Aranthodu, in collaboration with the Thodikana Primary Agriculture Co-operative Society on 14th September 2025 with the national theme “Ayurveda for People and the Planet.”
A dedicated team comprising teaching faculties, postgraduate students, internees, nursing staff, and hospital executives actively participated in the event. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community.
The program included public awareness sessions on the importance of Ayurveda in promoting health, preventing diseases, and maintaining balance with nature. The talks emphasized healthy lifestyle practices, preventive health care measures, and eco-friendly approaches rooted in Ayurvedic principles.
The medical camp provided free consultations, diagnosis, and Ayurvedic health guidance to beneficiaries. A total of 76 participants attended the medical camps and availed themselves of the services. By combining public awareness activities with free medical services, the event successfully spread knowledge on Ayurveda’s role in both individual well-being and planetary health.
The celebration concluded with positive feedback from participants and community representatives, reinforcing the relevance of Ayurveda in contemporary healthcare and marking the success of the 10th Ayurveda Day.
