College day was celebrated at KVG Ayurveda Medical college on 23.11.2025. The program was presided by Dr.K V Chidananda, President, Academy of liberal education (Reg.), Sullia. Dr.Sankanagoud Patil, Senate Member, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, was the chief guest. Ar.Akshay.K.C, General secretary, AOLE,Mr.Hemnath.K.V, secretary,AOLE and Mr.T.M.Shaheed, President, Kanista vetana salaha Mandali,Govt.of Karnatakawere the guests of honour. Dr.Leeladhar.D.V, Principal, KVG Ayurveda Medical College, Dr.Vinaya Shankara Bharadwaj, Student welfare officer, Ms.Neela Mahantappa Angadi, president of student council and office bearers of student council were there on the stage. Dr.Leeladhar.D.V, Principal read the annual report of the college. Dr.Vinaya Shankara Bharadwaj welcomed the gathering and Ms.Neela Mahantappa Angadi delivered vote of thanks.
The faculties Dr.Vijayalakshmi.P.B, Professor, Department of Dravyaguna and Mr.Dharmapal.S. wo completed 25 years of service in the institution were felicitated in the college day program. Dr.Harshavardhan, Professor and head department of Shalya Tantra received the felicitation by the dignitaries for being nominated as external member for doctoral/research advisory committee (Ph.D), Yenepoya Research Centre, Yenepoya Deemedo beUniversity, Karnataka and he is also appointed as external member(clinical), institutional ethics committee of SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi. Dr.Subhash Rai, the alumnus of our institution working as medical superintendent, Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital was felicitated for his outstanding performance in the field of Ayurveda and research. The students of KVGAMC, also received felicitation for their outstanding performance in RGUHS university examinations, those who scored highest marks in their class and those who receivedresearch grants in CCRAS and RGUHS research activities.
