Varnika 2026-  Two days workshop in Clinical cosmetology and product making Organized by Department of Agadatantra In-association with NIMA, Sullia and Tean Bubblez.

The Department of Agadatantra organized a two-day workshop titled “VARNIKA 2026 – Beyond Skin: Mastering the Art & Science of Cosmetology” in association with NIMA, Sullia and Team Bubblezon 16/03/2026 and 17/03/2026 at KVG ayurveda medical college and hospital, sullia. The workshop aimed to integrate Ayurvedic wisdom with modern cosmetology and provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in clinical cosmetology and cosmetic product formulation.

The inaugural session began with a warm welcome by Dr. Dhanya, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Komal, PG Scholar from the Department of Agadatantra who were the Master of Ceremony . The dignitaries were escorted to the dais by Dr. Avinash KV, Professor and Head of the Department of Agadatantra. The program commenced with an auspicious prayer by PG scholars, invoking positivity and success. Dr. Avinash KV then delivered the welcome speech and keynote address, highlighting the importance of combining traditional Ayurvedic practices with modern cosmetology. Tokens of gratitude and bouquets were presented to the respected Principal Dr. Leeladhar DV, resource persons Dr. Amala Jyothi and Dr. Varada Mohan, and Dr lakshmish K S, president NIMA sullia. The ceremonial lamp lighting marked the official inauguration, symbolizing the removal of darkness and the spread of knowledge. The Principal, Dr. Leeladhar DV, addressed the gathering and inspired the participants with his motivating words.

The workshop focused on key areas such as the fundamentals of Ayurvedic and modern cosmetology, hands-on training in cosmetic formulation, understanding aesthetic devices, and guidance on developing cosmetic brands. The sessions were designed to transform theoretical knowledge into practical expertise, making them highly beneficial for students and practitioners.

The resource persons for the workshop were eminent experts in the field. Dr. Amala Jyothi, Director of Dermislove Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd. and Co-Founder of Bubblez Cosmetics, shared her extensive experience in cosmetic formulation and cosmetology education, effectively bridging Ayurveda and modern science.

Dr. Varada Mohan, Director of Ayurveda Payyanur Institute of Paramedical Science and Consulting Cosmetologist at VaidyaratnamOushadhasala, provided valuable insights into clinical cosmetology and Ayurvedic dermatology, enriching the participants’ understanding of the subject.

The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Pooja KS, Assistant Professor, Department of Agadatantra, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, resource persons, organizers, and participants.

The workshop witnessed active participation from students, interns, and professionals. The interactive sessions and practical demonstrations made the program engaging and informative.

VALEDICTORY FUNCTION

The valedictory function of the workshop “VARNIKA 2026 – Beyond Skin: Mastering the Art & Science of Cosmetology” was conducted on 17/3/2026 with great enthusiasm and a sense of accomplishment, marking the successful conclusion of the two-day program. The dignitaries present on the dais included Dr. Leeladhar D V, Principal, Dr. Varada Mohan and Dr. Amala Jyothi, Resource Persons, Dr. Avinash KV, Head of the Department of Agadatantra, and Dr. Lakshmish, President, NIMA Sullia. Their esteemed presence added significance and grace to the occasion.

As a token of appreciation, momentos were presented to the resource persons in recognition of their valuable contributions and insightful sessions. Tokens of gratitude were also extended to the directors, Dr. Anand P J and Mr. Gopakumar, for their support and involvement in the successful organization of the workshop.

The valedictory session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Harshavardhan B, Associate Professor, Department of Agadatantra, who expressed sincere gratitude to all dignitaries, resource persons, organizers, and participants for their contributions.

The program officially came to an end with the National Anthem, followed by high tea, providing an opportunity for informal interaction and reflection. The valedictory function thus concluded on a note of gratitude, satisfaction, and inspiration, marking the successful completion of the workshop.
