In connection with World No Tobacco Day 2026, an awareness program was organised at KVG Ayurveda Medical College on 03.06.2026. Department of Dravyaguna Vijnana of KVGAMC in association with NSS unit of KVGAMC and JCI Sullia Payaswin organised this program. Dr.Aparna Dilip, PG scholar, Department of Agada Tantra, gave an awareness talk on the ill effects of usage of tobacco. The talk was followed by a street play done by the students 2nd year BAMS (2023-24 batch),KVGAMC to create awareness about the hazardous effect of usage of tobacco. Dr.Leeladhar.D.V, Principal, KVGAMC, Dr.Vinaya Shankara Bharadwaj, Student welfare officer, Dr.Pramoda.P.A, NSS officer,KVGAMC, Mrs.Lathashree Suprith, President,JCI Sullia Payaswini, the HODs and faculties of all departments, NSS volunteers, PG scholars and students witnessed ths event.
