On 25/5/25 Malenadu Gidda Conservation & Promotion Campaign in association with KVG Group of Institutions, Sullia organized “Website unveiling, Go Pooja and Cow Handover program” at KVG Ayurveda Pharma & Research Centre, Sullia.
The program was inaugurated by Dr.K.V Chidananda, President, A.O.L.E, Sullia. Shri Sadashiva Bhat Marike, President, Malenadu Gidda Conservation & Promotion Campaign presided over the function. Ar.Akshay K C, General Secretary, A.O.L.E, Sullia launched the website of Malenadu Gidda Conservation & Promotion Campaign. Chief guests of the function were Dr. K. P. Ramesh, Former Head of National Dairy Research Institute, Bangalore; Shri S Angara, Ex-MP, Govt of Karnataka; Shri Nityananda Mundodi, Former Chairman, Management Committee of Kukke Shree Subrahmanya Temple; Dr. Vishwanath, Retired Vice Chancellor, GKVK, Bangalore; Shri Arun Nagegowda, DYSP,Puttur; Shri Praveen Kumar, ACF, Sullia and Shri Akshay Alva, Organizer, Malenadu Gidda Conservation & Promotion Campaign.
The program included two guest speeches to the general public and the students. Dr. K. P. Ramesh, Former Head of National Dairy Research Institute, Bangalore spoke on “Uniqueness of Indigenous Cattle breeds and their products” followed by another speaker Dr.Purushotham K G, CEO, KVG Ayurveda Pharma & Research Centre, Sullia who spoke on “Importance and Utility of Cow products according to Ayurveda”.
Dr. Harshitha M, Professor, Department of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Sullia welcomed the gathering. Miss. Baby Vidya, Lecturer, Nehru Memorial College, Sullia mastered the ceremony. On this occasion Go pooja, handovering of cows and an opportunity to stakeholders for display and sale of Cow products were arranged.
