Poshana Maah-2022 at Mandekolu on 16.09.2022

On account of “Poshana Maah-2022”, Women & Child Welfare Department, Shishu Abhivruddi Yojane, Sullia, Grama Panchayat Mandekolu, Farmer’s Co – Operative Society Mandekolu, Rotary Club Sullia, Mahavishnu Stree Shakthi Gonchalu Mandekolu, Veeravanithe Sports & Arts Society Mandekolu, Arogya Upakendra Mandekolu in association with NSS unit, Dept. of Prasoothi Tantra, Stree Roga & Koumarabritya of  KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital Sullia under the guidelines of UNICEF & RGUHS, Bangalore, conducted a “Free Medical Camp for Mal-nourished Children, Women & awareness programme regarding nutrition for various organizations, parents,  Anganavadi workers & Asha workers as a part of SBCC on 16.09.2022” at Amrutha Co-operative auditorium Mandekolu, Sullia. Dr. Pramoda P.A. Asso. Prof., Dept. of Koumarabhritya & NSS officer of our College delivered a talk on “Nutrition, Food as Medicine & Importance of Millets”. Children & Women were screened by Dr. Ashok K., Dr. Pramoda P.A., Dr. Rashmi K.S. & Dr. Nirmal Kanakaraj. Total 70 health aspirants were benefited. In this Program, Sri Ramakrishna Rai, President, Farmer’s Co – Operative Society Mandekolu, Smt. Vinutha Pathikallu, President, Grama Panchayat Mandekolu, Smt. Rashmi K.M., Child Development Programme Officer, Sullia, Sri. Chandrashekhara Peralu, President, Rotary Club, Sullia, Smt. Madhura, Director, Farmer’s Production Organization Sullia were present. Children, Women’s, Parents, Anganavadi workers, Asha workers, Members of various organizations of Mandekolu village & NSS volunteers, Interns of KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Sullia were involved.
