International Women’s Day was celebrated at KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Sullia on 07.03.2024. This programme was presided by Dr K V Chidananda, President, AOLE(R.) Sullia. Inaugurating the programme Smt. Milana K Bharath, Assistant Director of Fisheries, Madikeri Govt. of Karnataka, spoke about the women empowerment. Kumari Bhagirathi Murulya, MLA, Sullia was the Chief Guest. Smt Shobha Chidananda, Wise President, AOLE(R.), DR Aishwarya K C, Secretory, AOLE(R.) were the guest of honour. During this occasion Smt Harini Sadashiva honoured for her selfless service to the society. Dr Leeladhar D V, Principal, Dr Harshitha M, SWO and Miss Shreeja Rai were there on the stage. Dr Harshitha M welcome the gathering and Mrs Mithali Rai, Principal, NMPUC, delivered vote of thanks. Dr Deepthi S and Mrs Lathashree mastered the ceremony.
Various competitions, cultural events and also different food stalls were arranged by the women employees of sister concerned institutions of KVGAMC. All the employees actively participated in this event.
