In connection with ‘World no tobacco day’, awareness program was organised by dept. of Agada Tantra and dept. of Swasthavritta in association with NSS unit in KVG Ayurveda Medical College on 31.05.2024. The program was inaugurated by Dr.Leeladhar D. V., Principal, KVG Ayurveda Medical College. The staff and students of the institution took the oath of not using tobacco. The presentation of was given by Dr. Komal Khale, PG scholar, Dept. of Agada Tantra and Mr. Bhavit shankar Shetty, UG Scholar, to create awareness of hazards of using tobacco. The 2nd year UG scholars arranged a street play about the ill effects of tobacco use. Mrs. Shobha Chidananda, Vice president, AOLE (R.) Sullia, Dr. Leeladhar D.V., Principal, KVG AMC, NSS program officer Dr Pramod P A, staff and students of the institution witnessed this event.
