In connection with 9th National Ayurveda week celebration, KVG Ayurveda Medical College and hospital, in association with District Ayush department, Dakshina Kannada, organized an awareness program and health talk at Chokkadi high school, Kukkujadka on 21.10.2024. Dr.Rashmi K S, Associate professor, Dept. of Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga spoke on the topic- Importance of Ayurveda in maintaining the health of female children between the age of 12 to 21years. Dr.Sanath Kumar D.G, Professor and HOD, Dept.of Panchakarma gave the introductory note. The awareness talk was followed by free health checkup for the students of that school.
The staff of KVG Ayurveda College assisted this program. The students, staff and SDMC members of Chokkadi high school actively participated in the program.
