As per NCISM Curriculum, KVG Ayurveda Medical College conducted a 8 days Samskritha Shibhira for BAMS students. The program was conducted by Samskritha Bharathi Kasaragod affiliated with the Samskritha Sangha of the college. On 15-01-2025, the program was inaugurated by Dr. Leeladhar DV, principal, KVG Ayurveda Medical College in the presence of Dr. Harshitha.M, SWO, Mrs. Shashikala Derla, Secretary of Samskritha Sangha, members of Samskritha Sangha, faculty members and students.
The trainer of the program was Smt. Sandhya from Samskritha Bharathi, Kasaragod. She was accompanied by Smt. Amritha. They engaged the complete Shibhira by interacting with the students in Samskrita and were successful in inculcating them some of the basics of the vast language. By the end of the program, students were able to understand the language and were able to make small interactions too.
The Valedictory program of this Shibira was held on 23.01.2025. The programme was inaugurated by offering floral tribute to photo of Bharatha Maate by the dignitaries on the stage. Dr. Leeladhar D V, Principal of the college gave the Presidential note. The Chief Guests of the program were Sri. Manjunatha Udupa and Sri. Venkatesh Uluvana. The program concluded with Samskritha Sambhashana Skit, Anubhava Kathana and Shloka recitation by the students.
