In connection with “Ni-Kshaya” programme of Ministry of Health and Family, Govt. of Karnataka, An awareness programme was organised at KVG Ayurveda Medical College as per the instruction from Department of AYUSH, D.K., on 24.01.2025, in association with District Administration, Zilla Panchayath, District Health and Family Welfare Department, District TB Eradication office, DK, RGUHS, Bangalore, NSS Unit, KVGAMC Sullia, Dept. of Swasthavritta and Dept. of Kayachikithsa, KVGAMC, Sullia.
Dr. Leeladhar D V, Principal, KVGAMC&H inaugurated the programme. Dr Shabina T T, Asso. Professor, Dept. of Swasthavritta and Dr Avinash S, Asso. Prfessor, Dept. of Kayachikithsa gave the awareness talk on spreading of tuberculosis, its science and symptoms, treatment and methods of tuberculosis eradication of tuberculosis.
The NSS Officer Dr Pramoda P A, NSS Volunteers, Staff and Students were present in the programme. The tuberculosis eradication oath was taken by the gathering during the occasion. Miss Rakshitha B welcomed the gathering and Mr Rohan L P delivered vote of thanks.
