Yoga demonstration competition and Poster presentation competitions were organised for the students of KVGAMC, in relation to 9th International Day of Yoga. The competitions were conducted on 19.06.2023. There were 26 participants for Yoga demonstration and 36 participants for poster making competitions respectively.

As per the instructions of RGUHS, Bengaluru, the Dept. Of Swasthavritta in association with NSS unit of KVG Ayurveda Medical college organised a rally in the Sullia town to create awareness in the public about the importance of doing Yoga in daily life. Department of Pathology & Blood Bank of K.V.G. Medical College & Hospital, Sullia in collaboration with NSS unit of K.V.G. Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Sullia, KVG Law College Youth Red Cross Wing & Neharu Memorial College Sullia observed blood donation camp on account of “World Blood Donors Day” on 14.06.2023 at K.V.G. Medical College

Yoga demonstration program was organised for the students of KVG Medical College & Hospital, Kurunjibag, Sullia on 10.06.2023. Various important Asanas were demonstrated and taught to them. About 200 students participated in the event. This event was organised by Dept. of Swasthavritta and NSS unit of KVG Ayurveda Medical College.

The inspectors of NCISM, New Delhi visited KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital on 05.06.2023 and 06.06.2022.

A guest talk was organised for 1st year BAMS (2022-23 batch)students of KVG Ayurveda medical college on 06/06/2023. Prof. Dr. U. K. Krishna, Director, prestigious Ayurveda institution, Japan, spoke on the topic “Ayurveda in general practice.”

On account of “Swatch Bharat Pakhwada”, directed by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, NSS unit of KVG Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Sullia observed “Swachatha programe” on 27.05.2023 at Sullia town & our college premises. NSS program Officer Dr. Pramoda P.A. & 95 volunteers have actively participated in this program.
