ABOUT KAYACHIKITSA
Kayachikitsa is one among the eight division of Ayurveda which deals with treatment of general diseases of adult like skin disorders, neurological disorders, joint disorders, digestive system disorders, respiratory system disorders, psychological and other systemic disorders. Here purificatory and palliative therapy, daily regimen, diet etc. are employed to bring about equilibrium of the body. These applications are done through Kashaya, Churna, vati, bhasma, Asava, Arista, Gritha, Thaila etc.

The Kayachikitsa Post graduate department has an intake of 05 PG students each year. Department is enriched with well-furnished PG class rooms, PG Library, Audio visual room. Students are zealously trained by efficient guides and are assisted to conduct various research works, which are updated by publishing in various indexed journals. Seminars clinical discussion and compilation works are being conducted periodically in order to enhance student’s proficiency.
Hospital
Two OPDs of Kayachikitsa run efficiently whole week with skilled physicians. Department is conducting various health awareness and medical camps in surrounding and also in the hospital on different systematic conditions. Patient are treated on the basis of both outpatient and inpatient department. Patient not only from locality but all over from Karnataka, Kerala and other states of India are benefited from our service. Strength of the system is providing efficient, coast effective, personalized medicine with high safety margins.
